What Do You Think of Jesus Christ?
Matthew 22:42 — “What do you think about the Christ?”
This question is not abstract—it is eternally significant. Your answer will determine your destiny. There is no room for error here. He was no mere man walking around the Sea of Galilee 2000 years ago. He was and is the life and light of men. If we do not trust in the true, living Christ as revealed in the Scriptures, we are following a false Christ—one of the many counterfeits that Jesus himself warned about (Matthew 24:24).
Who Is Jesus Christ?

“For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5)Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, foretold by the prophets, God’s anointed Savior.
“We have found him of whom Moses... and the prophets wrote.” (John 1:45)
“All the promises of God find their Yes in him.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)Jesus Christ is the royal Son of David, whose kingdom will never end.
“The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.” (Luke 1:32)

“A light for the nations.” (Isaiah 49:6)

“But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” (Hebrews 9:26)Jesus Christ conquered death.
“...our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” (2 Timothy 1:10)Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil.
“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)Jesus Christ sustains and rules all things even now.
“...he upholds the universe by the word of his power.” (Hebrews 1:3)
“...he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.” (1 Timothy 6:15)Jesus Christ will return in judgment.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)
How Will You Respond?
Trust in the Lord Jesus. To trust in Jesus Christ is to turn from sin and entrust yourself wholly to Him. It means repenting of your rebellion, relying on His finished work alone for your salvation, and loving Him with a sincere heart. Saving faith is not mere agreement—it is a living trust in the crucified and risen Savior, a wholehearted giving of yourself to Him in love.
“Repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved...” (Acts 16:31)
“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)
We dare not reject such mercy and love from such a Savior. Come, and welcome to Jesus Christ!
